Painted by Clyde Caldwell in 1994, this piece served as the cover art for White Wolf Game Studio's tabletop role-playing supplement Werewolf Storytellers Handbook within the World of Darkness franchise and Werewolf: The Apocalypse line. The painting depicts a ferocious Garou (werewolf) shaman in the hulking Crinos battle form, stalking through a moonlit, dense forest and leaning menacingly over a fallen birch tree. Embodying their spiritual and warrior role as defenders of Gaia, the creature is adorned with Native American–inspired shamanic regalia including bead necklaces, feathers, runic bracers, and an animal-skull totem staff, while fresh blood drips from its claws.
Professionally restored and reproduced from the original artwork, this print preserves the powerful visual impact of Clyde Caldwell's painting while offering exceptional detail and color fidelity for modern display. • Premium 200 g/m² matte paper • Exceptional detail and color reproduction • Professionally enhanced and restored image quality • Available in 12x18", 16x24", and 24x36" sizes • Unframed for custom display options • Printed in the USAShare
