Painted in 1996 by Clyde Caldwell under commission from Bethesda Softworks designer Bruce Nesmith, this high-fantasy illustration was originally intended as the box cover art for the third mainline Elder Scrolls installment, then under the working title The Elder Scrolls Chapter III: Tribunal. The motif depicts a spear-wielding, scantily armored female elven warrior bravely confronting a massive, horned, spiked earth behemoth, while three cloaked mages watch from a rocky peak in the distance. The planned game was fundamentally restructured and relocated to Vvardenfell, evolving into The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind, leaving Caldwell's artwork officially shelved and unused on commercial game packaging, though the 'Tribunal' concept remained a core part of the series lore.

Professionally restored and reproduced from the original artwork, this print preserves the powerful visual impact of Clyde Caldwell's painting while offering exceptional detail and color fidelity for modern display. • Premium 200 g/m² matte paper • Exceptional detail and color reproduction • Professionally enhanced and restored image quality • Available in 12x18", 16x24", and 24x36" sizes • Unframed for custom display options • Printed in the USA
