The artwork depicts the Dragon Highlord Kitiara uth Matar ensnared in a twisted, haunted forest as skeletal undead hands claw up from the ground to pull her down, while she desperately brandishes a protective talisman. In the background, the spectral death knight Lord Loren Soth watches her struggle with folded arms and glowing red eyes, encapsulating the treacherous and uneasy alliance between the two iconic Dragonlance antagonists.
