The artwork portrays the dramatic confrontation near the climax of the War of the Lance within the dark Temple of Neraka, where the captured Golden General, Princess Laurana Kanan, is restrained in chains by draconian guards before the five-headed chromatic dragon goddess Takhisis (the Queen of Darkness).
