Officially titled "Double Trouble", this circa 1943 commercial calendar pin-up illustration was created by American artist Art Frahm and published by the Louis F. Dow Company, later appearing as an arcade collectible card in the 1944 International Mutoscope Reel Company's "Follies Girls" series. An early precursor to Frahm's iconic "embarrassing moments" cheesecake paintings, the piece depicts a glamorous brunette woman attempting to jack up the rear bumper of her automobile to repair a flat tire, only to be struck by a sudden gust of wind that blows away her bonnet and lifts her yellow dress to expose her undergarments, humorously doubling her troubles.
